Meet Tayla
Tayla is an Occupational Therapist with experience working with adults who have complex support needs, particularly within neurological and developmental areas of practice.
She holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of South Australia and a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Rehabilitation from Flinders University.
Tayla’s work focuses on supporting adults to maintain comfort, safety, and quality of life as their needs change over time, while ensuring that family members and support teams feel confident, informed, and well supported.
She works primarily within the NDIS context and has experience completing comprehensive assessments and providing practical, evidence-based recommendations.

Clinical experience includes:
- Functional capacity assessments for NDIS planning and reviews, including recommendations for SIL, SDA, and preparation for ART matters
- Seating and positioning assessments, including wheelchair prescription and postural support for comfort, function, and pressure care
- Prescription of assistive technology — hoists, specialist beds, commodes, and daily living equipment
- Home modification assessments, including minor and major bathroom modifications for accessibility and safety
- Manual handling and transfer assessments to support safe care for both participants and support teams
Tayla is committed to providing clear, practical recommendations that support independence, reduce risk, and promote meaningful participation in daily life.
Outside of her clinical work, Tayla enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, and values the balance of family life alongside her professional role.
